Brief Description on Zawita Pharma Company

Zawita Pharma Company started exercising its trading activities in the area of medicines and medical supplies ever since May 1998 under the name of “Zawita Depot”. Gradually, the company’s trading scope expanded and in order to be legally recognized as a company with full authority to import wholesale shipments of medicines and medical supplies, “Zawita Pharma” company was established in August 2008.

History

Zawita Pharma company started trading activities in the area of medicines and medical supplies ever since May 1998 under the name of “Zawita Depot”. Within few years, our sales increased dramatically, and we acquired huge market share in medicines and medical supplies in Iraq due to our excellent customer services, market analysis, high product quality. The company’s trading scope expanded and changed its legally statue to a company with full authority to import wholesale shipments of medicines and medical supplies entitled “Zawita Pharma” company in August 2008.

Company’s activities

  • Importing of miscellaneous medicines and medical supplies from Turkey, UAE, European Union Countries, Jordan, Egypt and Canada.
  • In April 2009, the company entered into a three-year agreement with (BILIM) company from Turkiye for Pharmaceuticals based on which the latter will provide Zawita Pharma with supplies on regular basis for long term agreement.
  • In December 2010, the company entered into two-year agreement with (PHARMA SCIENCE) company from Canadian for Pharmaceuticals based on which the latter will provide Zawita Pharma with supplies on regular basis.
  • In October 2011 the company entered in a deal with (DENK PHARMA) company from Germany for distributing their important medicine products in Iraq.
  • In June 2012 the company entered in a contract with (RUBIO LABORATORIES) company for distributing their important products in Iraq.
  • In August 2012 the company entered in a deal with (ALDO UNION) company from Spain for distributing their important products in Iraq.
  • In January 2015 the company singed a contract with (CEDEM) company from Switzerland specialized in food supplement manufacturer for distributing their important products in Iraq.
  • In april 2017 the company sealed a contract with (Jerusalem Pharmaceutical) company for Israel distributing their important products in Kurdistan region.
